Kyle Kuzma is the perfect example of: You don't have to play well if you play hard. Running back on defense, playing with intensity, going after loose balls, making the right cuts, taking charges. That shit is infectious.

THT is legitimately good, and is worthy of playoff minutes. He provides not only a spark but his game is maturing; he doesn't take shots he shouldn't, has a feel for the game when running the P&R, makes good passes and is a solid defender.

It's because Trez is actually a decent perimeter defender (very underrated there, considering his reputation is that he's just plain awful, period). Trez is still not great at post defense because he's still just 6'7, but he's pretty good at keeping guys in front of him outside and using his long arms to get a hand up.
On the Clippers though, when he was in there he was pretty much their only interior defense (cause they never played him and Zubac together cause neither could shoot 3s), so Trez was forced into playing into his biggest weakness. On the Lakers though, they can put Trez out there on Jokic on the perimeter, and if Jokic wants to take him down low they can double team him with Kuzma or have AD meet him at the rim.

Eh, AD should get the reps to be able to hit 20 shots efficiently come playoffs. These coping mechanisms don't help. AD is not having a great season. He's not coasting or being hidden. He's straight up not good offensively.
